Tiger kidnap: the threat, risk and treatments

In recent years tiger kidnap has continued to present a serious threat to companies in the United Kingdom and internationally.

Recorded figures have shown that since 2003 there has been a yearly increase in this type of offence within the UK culminating in a substantial increase to 2006, with those businesses operating in the financial sector most at risk.

Control Risks' technical security consultancy team has therefore commissioned a piece of reasearch examining the current trends and the threat posed by tiger kidnappers, and the policies and procedures open to retail banks to mitigate the threat and minimise the impact.
