Applying our principles in high-risk environments requires judgement and skill. Control Risks employees who wish to raise ethical concerns are encouraged to consult the company Ethics Committee or a designated confidential point of contact at our London head office. External parties may contact Control Risks management at any of our offices or our Group Legal Counsel.

Control Risks signed up to the UN Global Compact in September 2007, and is committed to embracing, supporting and implementing its ten principles. Our Communication on Progress submitted in October 2009 outlines our commitment to the initiative, with a particular focus on respecting human rights and countering corruption.

In our industry, we believe that independence is important. The advice we offer is always unbiased and objective, with our clients’ best interests uppermost in our minds.

Control Risks operates in a manner that meets the highest corporate governance standards. Notwithstanding its private company status, Control Risks has adopted applicable aspects of the UK’s 2003 Revised Combined Code on Corporate Governance, and risk management is embedded into our worldwide business processes.
